The festival takes place on July the 6th, 7th and 8th, and the bands announced today, Monday March 20th ARE:

Friday co-headliner – FRANK CARTER & THE RATTLESNAKES 
(with NOTHING BUT THIEVES)
Saturday co-headliner – LOWER THAN ATLANTIS
(with SLAVES)

With all of the four co-headliner bands for this years event (as well as Thursdays headliner) being from these fair shores, 2000trees has again invested in exciting and emerging UK and British talent. All these bands will also be taking their first steps as a festival headliners at 2000trees Festival, a feat that continues on from last year with Twin Atlantic.

From LOWER THAN ATLANTIS front man, Mike Duce – “We are really excited to return to 2000trees this summer. It will be our first UK festival since our new record came out so it’ll be great to play a lot more of those songs whilst everyone’s getting drunk in a field. Lots of our mates are playing too so it’ll be a good time in a beautiful part of the country.”

Festival organiser James Scarlett says: “Right now the UK rock scene is in ridiculously strong health and we’re very happy to be giving these bands a chance to co-headline a UK festival bill. Slaves will close the festival main stage on the Saturday night, with co-headliners Lower Than Atlantis on just before them. On the Friday we’ve got headliners Nothing But Thieves following Frank Carter & the Rattlesnakes and let’s not forget Mallory Knox on our Thursday early entry night. It truly feels like 2000trees version 11 is going to be the best one yet. Roll on July!”

The multi-award-winning 2000trees Festival is a 10,000 capacity music festival set in the rolling Cotswold Hills. You’ll get two nights camping (three if you attend Thursday Early Entry night) and a friendly, intimate atmosphere – plus amazing food and locally produced ciders, ales & lagers.

2000trees Festival is all about the music, with more than 120 of the absolute best new and underground acts from the worlds of rock and indie, plus some more established acts to close out the night.
