Brooders release new video for ‘Haze’!

Having gigged continuously for two years, Psych-Grunge three-piece BROODERS release their first single HAZE on 27 September 2016.BROODERS take a fresh new approach to the ‘90s traditions of angry emotive grunge, and update it with monumental melodies, spine tingling breakdowns and hooks to keep listeners on the edge of their seats. Screaming vocals, heavy drum fills, metal riffs, drops and breaks, BROODERS have crafted a sound that resonates with the gritty backdrop of the Leeds underground scene, which they will take to stages around the UK in the autumn.

Following a sold out show at the iconic Leeds Brudenell Social Club in support of their debut EP release, BROODERS have since played dates with the likes of God Damn, Fizzy Blood, Kit Trigg and I Divide, as well as headlining a bill at Liverpool Sound City earlier this year.

Singer Adam Bairstow describes HAZE as,

A dark insight into the loneliness that an isolated blurred reality can provide. Haze makes everything seem like it is going swimmingly, whilst in reality the veil has been lowered over the eyes of the beholder. As it is lifted, the dark reality consumes all and the weight of the world comes crushing down. Haze is about a dark time of my life when the only escape seemed to be through hiding behind that exact twisted visage”.

HAZE will be available online from iTunes, Google Music, Amazon Music and Spotify, with limited edition CD singles available at Crash Records and Jumbo Records in Leeds, and from the BROODERS’ website and the Big Cartel Online Store. To coincide with the single release, BROODERS embark on the following dates with KIT TRIGG and GOLDSANDS. Be there. Because when the haze clears, you’ll regret that you weren’t further forward.

Formed in October 2014 as a duo under the original name of Hunny, in February 2016 the band recruited a bassy Southerner to join the ranks under the new name BROODERS. The name being an English variation of the German word for ‘Brothers’, the ties between the band couldn’t be closer. This kicking and screaming trio from Derby, Nottingham and London, now based in Leeds, are here to stay and the future couldn’t be louder.

BROODERS are: ADAM BAIRSTOW – guitar and vocals / LIAM NAYLOR – drums / ADAM SPEARE – bass
