This year’s aftershow event for Slam Dunk North Festival will take place inside the First Direct Arena!
The venue will take out the main stage to create more floor space for over 4000 rock fans on Saturday, May 23.
There are talks with the Guinness book of World records in the hope Slam Dunk can set a record for the UK’s biggest rock club night.
Tony Watson, head of marketing for First Direct Arena, said:
“Slam Dunk is a great and vibrant event for the City of Leeds and we are looking forward to hosting the official aftershow party”
“We plan to finish the festival in style and give it a noteworthy end.”
Last year Slam Dunk was crowned the nation’s best festival at the Kerrang! Awards.
With more than a 50 per cent increase in tickets compared to last year, Slam Dunk’s 10th year is set to be the biggest yet.
The line up includes Don Broco, Architects, Taking Back Sunday, Lower Than Atlantis, We Are The Ocean, PVRIS, and many more joining the line up which UK chart toppers You Me At Six will be headlining!
Keep your eyes peeled next week for the full stage listings for the festival!
