Lights is set to return to the UK with new album ‘Skin&Earth’

Alt/pop artist Lights is bringing her fourth studio album Skin&Earth to the UK for the first time, and heading out on a UK tour. She will kick things off on 21st May at Manchester’s Night And Day, and make her way around venues in cities including London’s Garage on the 23rd May, before making her debut appearance at Slam Dunk Festival in Leeds and Hatfield. Lights will then wrap things up at Glasgow’s King Tut’s on 28th May. 3 shows out of 4 are now SOLD OUT. Lights is also set to appear at Comic Con on 24th May, at London’s ExCeL.

Skin&Earth is the Canadian singer/songwriter’s most ambitious project yet, and was released alongside a graphic novel series of the same name. It was created, written and illustrated in full by Lights and went on to win her second consecutive JUNO Award, for Pop Album of the Year. Skin&Earth features anthemic tracks with accompanying videos GiantsSavageSky Diving and New Fearswhich all bring her comics to life, with Lights assuming the role of the story’s lead. It is also currently being developed for live action television by Entertainment One.

Following the release of deadmau5 collab, Drama Free, which also features on Netflix film PolarLights joined the acclaimed DJ/producer on stage at Ultra Music Festival in Miami last month.
