2000 Trees announce more additions to the line up

The fourth 2000trees Festival 2018 announcement is here, and this time we have some of the most exceptional music talent from across the globe, as well as open up to even more musical genres.

From Scotland we have the incredible and irrepressible shimmering indie folk kings Frightened Rabbit, from Brighton we welcome back the mighty otherworldly sounds of Blood Red Shoes and the ferociously sharp Black Honey. From Belfast we roll out the red carpet for the almost indescribably awesome (ArcTanGent Thursday headliners) And So I Watch You From Afarand from the US we say howdy to the exciting and artistic stylings of Queen Kwong. We also can announce the fast rising Blood Command from Norway, the brilliant and beguiling Belgians Brutus, as well as a whole host of some of the finest new and exciting UK bands around ATM like Funeral Shakes, Dead!, Gloo, Nova Twins, Soeur and more.

From Frightened Rabbit – “We’re so pleased to be back at 2000trees Festival. it’s always been a favourite of ours and they gave us our first ever UK festival headline slot so it’s a special place for us. Also they have peacocks!”From Blood Red Shoes – “Really happy to announce our first festival appearance of 2018. We’ll be returning to our favourite independent festival in the UK, 2000trees Festival.”

From Queen Kwong – “I can’t wait to play 2000trees Festival because I’ve wanted to be a part of it for a really long time, now. I know it’s going to go off.”

From Brutus – “We are really stoked to be back at 2000trees Festival We didn’t know what to expect when we played the festival for the first time last year, and it was just amazing – such a nice crowd and so many great bands, we are really happy to be back again this year  – we’re looking forward to that moment when you drive your van out of the hills and you see the festival site! The multi-award-winning 2000trees Festival is a 10,000 capacity music festival set in the rolling Cotswold Hills. You’ll get three nights camping and a friendly, intimate atmosphere – plus amazing food and locally produced ciders, ales & lagers.

2000trees Festival is all about the music, with more than 120 of the absolute best new and underground acts from the worlds of rock and indie, plus some more established acts to close out the night. The festival also prides itself on giving new bands a platform to play to a huge audience, helping build bands up and supporting the UK music scene.
