Blink 182 release brand new video for new track ‘Bored To Death’!

blink-182 have unveiled the video for ‘Bored To Death‘, the lead single from their forthcoming album ‘California‘.

The clip sees the three-piece, which now features Matt Skiba on guitar following the fractured departure of long-serving bandmember Tom Delonge last year, playing in an underground club, with shots of the band performing interspersed with the main narrative of a bored high school student daydreaming about what he’d rather be doing than sitting in class.

blink will release ‘California’, their seventh album, on July 1. Along with ‘Bored To Death’, the pop-punk trio have also released the song ‘Rabbit Hole’ and ‘Built This Pool’, the latter lasting just 14 seconds.

Producer John Feldmann reassured fans in April that the band are still the same at their core. “Tom and Mark really were a pair of lead singers, but Mark sings a lot of people’s favourite songs,” he said.

“The guys aren’t 23 anymore, they’re dads now, so they’re no longer writing songs about poo and that kind of stuff. But there’s still got to be a sense of humour to it; it’s got to be fun and funny, but also age appropriate. There’s got to be growth on the album and there is.”

“It sounds fucking great and I’m just so excited to have people hear it. I’d say it’s one of the best records I’ve ever made in my life,” he concluded.
