Brooders set to release new single ‘Cling’!

Following the success of their recent HAZE single, released in September and accompanied by a storming seven date UK tour with Kit Trigg and Goldsands, Leeds-based BROODERS are preparing to release CLING, the second single from their as-yet-untitled mini-LP due for release in February next year.

Having gigged almost continuously for two years, the Psych-Grunge three-piece take a fresh approach to the ‘90s traditions of angry emotive grunge, and update it with monumental melodies, spine tingling breakdowns and hooks to keep listeners on the edge of their seats. Screaming vocals, heavy drum fills, metal riffs, drops and breaks, BROODERS have crafted a sound that resonates with the gritty backdrop of the Leeds underground scene, and CLING is another fine example of their trade.

CLING will be available online from iTunes, Google Music, Amazon Music and Spotify, the BROODERS’ website and the Big Cartel Online Store. To coincide with the release, BROODERS play shows in their two favourite cities in December, before preparing for a full UK tour to coincide with the mini-LP release early next year.

Following a sold out show at the iconic Leeds Brudenell Social Club in support of their debut EP release, BROODERS have since played dates with the likes of God Damn, Fizzy Blood and I Divide, as well as headlining a bill at Liverpool Sound City earlier this year.

Formed in October 2014 as a duo under the original name of Hunny, in February 2016 the band recruited a bassy Southerner to join the ranks under the new name BROODERS. The name being an English variation of the German word for ‘Brothers’, the ties between the band couldn’t be closer. This kicking and screaming trio from Derby, Nottingham and London, now based in Leeds, are here to stay and the future couldn’t be louder.
