biffy clyro

Mon the Biff! With their fantastic hit new album ‘Ellipsis‘ fresh out, Biffy will be rocking through a setlist of brand new tracks on the main stage, as well as the classics from ‘Puzzles’, ‘Only Revolutions’  and the fantastic ‘Opposites’! They took R&L by storm when they last headlined in 2013, and they ALWAYS somehow manage to up their game. So lets face it, we’re in for a treat!

THE 1975

the 1975

Another band flying high with their new hit album would be The 1975 with the fantastic ‘I like it when you sleep, for you are so beautiful yet so unaware of it‘, which took the UK by storm with quadruple dates sold out in London and Manchester proving in itself how good they really are live. Expect a rollercoaster of party songs, emotional singalong, and festival anthems as the lads close the night off headlining the NME tent.

twenty one pilots

These two are unbelievable. It’s hard to believe just the two can put on such a breathtaking show from start to finish, but they really can. We caught them live earlier in the year and lets just say there was plenty of confetti and Co2 explosions, as well as Josh literally riding the crowd on his drum kit through a couple of songs. With their 2015 album release ‘Blurryface’, Twenty One Pilots are armed with fantastic tracks, as well as their recent new song ‘Heathens’ for ‘Suicide Squad’, these guys are certainly one act not to be missed over the weekend.

frank carter

If there is one person who is well up for a bit of chaos at this years Reading & Leeds, It’s Frank Carter…
Expect to be woken up furiously from that hangover with some loud rock on the MainStage nice and early by Frank Carter and the Rattlesnakes. Frank will likely spend more time in the crowd gearing people up than on the monstrous main stage itself, so bring you game!

the hunna

Across on the Festival Republic stage is the rising stars The Hunna. With their new debut album ‘100‘ set for release shortly, these guys are itching to get on stage and impress with their fresh indie-rock. Since launching in September 2015, these guys have been turning heads across the world, so make sure you catch them before they hit the big time!

fall out boy

As ever, Fall Out Boy will be taking us back down nostalgia lane with their old anthems, but they also have a full arsenal of new material to boast from their recent album ‘Centuries’ and the fantastic ‘American Beauty/American psycho’, there is much more to the Chicago rockers than just that. Make sure your at the main stage in good time to see Fall Out boy prove their worth as one of the worlds biggest selling rock bands.

asking alexandria

With a brand new frontman in Denis Stoff, Asking Alexandria have a breath of fresh air to their live sets. With a thunderous new album ‘The Black’ out earlier in the year, they will also have plenty of new material to boast. If you haven’t had chance to check them out yet, this is the perfect time to see them tear apart the Pit stage with their monsterous metal.

red hot chilli peppers

With RHCP playing Reading & Leeds Festival exclusively, and returning for the first time in 9 years, it’s set to be a pretty special night! With an arsenal of super hits and the brand new album ‘The Getaway’ fresh off the blocks, expect a packed headline set of festival anthems and plenty of those sing along moments you’ll never forget.

Lower Than Atlantis

These guys are Reading & Leeds Festival veterans. Having worked their way up from stage to stage in the past years, Lower Than Atlantis are geared up and ready to take on the Main Stage for the second time! With brand new music on the horizon, make sure you catch these guys for the usual rock anthems, and possibly even a couple of surprises?

Good Charlotte

YES, Good Charlotte… they may not be lingering at the top of the poster with the heavyweights on the main stage, but they are headlining the Lock Up Stage, so make sure you inside in good time because it will be ram packed. This will be their first set of shows in the UK since releasing their brand new album ‘Youth Authority’, and if thats not enough of a pull for you, then the good old hits of ‘Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous’, ‘Boys & Girls’, ‘The Anthem’, ‘I Just Wanna Live’, and plenty more, you get where we’re going with this.
