Sun Arcana release new video for ‘Everybody’

Rising Essex band SUN ARCANA reveal their new music video for EVERYBODY today. Directed by Rolling Vision, the video showcases a softer side to the band, reflecting on personal struggles and emotional vulnerability.
“We came up with the foundations of ‘Everybody’ after I’d been through probably the hardest time in my life; I’d just spent five days in hospital following surgery and was really keen to go home. The first thing I did was pick up my guitar and play the chords. This song reminds me of that struggle, but also how friends and family really helped you get through it. The lyrics reflect this – letting someone you care about know that it’s okay to open up and ask for help

This song shows that we are more than just a heavy face melting guitar band. We do have a soft side we occasionally like to share!”

– Harry Acreman, guitars

SUN ARCANA recently signed to Easy Life Records (Lower Than Atlantis, Arcane Roots, Waterparks), making their grand entrance with singles WONDERFUL and OXYGEN which garnered support from BBC Radio 1, BBC Introducing, Kerrang! Radio, Planet Rock Radio, Rock Sound and Alternative Press.

25th January will see SUN ARCANA take to Kingston’s Fighting Cocks to support The Xcerts. Further live dates will be announced soon.

SUN ARCANA – Hailing from Essex, Tom Harper-Ward, Ryan Daniels and Harry Acreman dabbled with various musical projects as teenagers. However, they were brought together by a collective vision to create full-throttled, heavy music which had the melodic appeal to a broad audience. Joined shortly after by Jules Wildblood on bass after crossing paths with him at university, the line-up was complete and SUN ARCANA was born.

The band name touches on the mythology behind Tarot cards, with Arcana referring to mystical secrets and the Sun radiating light – referring to optimism. It’s partly a reflection of the band’s positive outlook on things to come later this year.
