Essex rock quintet TIGRESS are proud to present their video for ‘Shockwave’ (Live at Middle Farm Studios). This incarnation of ‘Shockwave’ strips the Like It Is EP version of the song right back to basics. The mix of guest strings from Ben Howard’s cellist India Bourne, stunning piano and guitar scores, and soaring vocals take the track to another level.
Commenting on the video and song, vocalist Katy Jackson explains:
“We absolutely loved recording this version of ‘Shockwave’ with India Bourne. She was incredible to work with and whenever she played we all got goose bumps. We wanted to do a striped back version of ‘Shockwave’ to get the message of the song across a little clearer – We ended up achieving this in 5 takes.”
‘Shockwave’ (Live at Middle Farm Studios) will be available on all streaming platforms from the 28th July.
After having been hand picked by Green Day to perform at the band’s British Summer Time gig in Hyde Park, TIGRESS are currently preparing for a tour of Russia and Eastern Europe with Canadian rockers Billy Talent. Full tour dates can be seen below.
