Twin Atlantic are writing album number three & announce intimate Leeds Club show!

Twin Atlantic have announced they will be playing the Leeds Brudenell Social Club as part of the Doc Martins ‘Stand For Something’ tour! The band will play the tiny intimate show on October 24th with Creeper. The show sold out just hours after announcement and is set to be a pretty incredible one!

Twin Atlantic have also announced that they are currently writing new music. The Scottish rockers claim to have an albums worth of music already, and could start recording as early as this month. In an interview with BBC newsbeat, Sam McTrusty claims him and Bassist Ross McNae stayed up until 5.30am after their performance at Reading festival the other weekend to edit some new music.

“After a show I usually go to bed around 2am but I stayed up late with Ross as we edited a song. We’ve been writing songs for the past six months and we have about 20 or so. We think that nine of them sound like an album.”

When talking about the last show at Leeds Festival, Sam also stated; “It was the final one of this album campaign. This whole album has been quite short and sweet but that’s been intentional. We wanted to condense it so we could make an album quickly after. We took too long with the last two. We may even go into the studio next month and get started on it.”
